This and the fact that a large number of shools will have two months of orgainzed practices and 15 or so games under their belts before the football champ laces up. With that said, Gordon or Jayton have the athletes to pull it off.

From my observations, the Jaybirds' achilles heel is pass defense. If you have a good scrambler and a couple of guys who can find open space, you will put up points and perhaps extend the game well into the second half. The problem is stopping Jayton's offense. I'm not aware of any punts this...

Found two sources showing the score for SA Homeschool vs Austin St. Stephens to be 32-18 rather than the 32-28 shown here. Not sure which is right.

Calvert ISD webpage says their game with Burkeville has been cancelled. Burkeville ISD homepage says game has been cancelled/forfeited by Calvert. Either way, looks like this game will not be played

The Hill Country football website has their full schedule with results and it looks to be kept up to date. They show a game on 20Sep and the next on 4Oct. Good chance the 27Sep game didn't happen
