Any idea as to when the cutoff numbers will be announced? I’m assuming for class A, and possibly class 2A that the cutoff numbers for football and basketball will be different? I would think for 3A and above schools are fielding teams for both fb and bb, but that’s just an assumption.

Not sure I agree with your “can't hang” assessment. I would point to the 4X200 relay at the State meet only because that was the one relay where both Gordon and Jayton had underclassmen on all four legs. Gordon did win, but by less than a second. That differential doesn’t really look comparable...

I recall Jayton 45'd @Newcastle around mid-way thru the third qtr. I would expect something similar from WV. They are a respectable team and will probably put up some points, but not nearly enough.
