I have ran an empty spread before using motions and formational shifts to create time for my Spread back. My alignment was 2x2 or 2x4 yards from the center. Distance of 8-10 yards from center to Spread back. It is very effective!!!

Our seeding/record was good enough to make it to playoffs on either ranking so not sure the relevance?

Maxpreps rankings have always been a joke which is why i have always referred to 6 man football page. I do not understand the rankings either so i wish i had a better explanation.
