Which week two division II games could end up in an upset?

I think that town east will pull the upset on houston. Another possible upset is christway over covenant. Christway is a very solid team and they usually play good against covenant, so i think that game will be close and christway might even upset covenant.

As much as I don't want to say it, I don't see any way that Christway could upset Covenant unless Covenant has a total collapse. Covenant is fast, experienced and had a week off. They have scouted Duncanville well. Christway has been improving all season, but they are still very young. Next year, they will be a force and will probably be favored in D-3 as Glenview will be moving up to Div 1. But this year, Covenant will be moving on to battle Freddy.

I think that covenant is of course the favorite and should be, but christway in at least the last 2 seasons has gotten beat in the second round of the playoffs and both times were huge underdogs and made the games close. Last year they played covenant in the second round and only lost by like 30 and everyone said they would be 45d at the half. The year before that the played st albans in the second round and again they were supposed to be 45d and lost by less than a touchdown and actually should have won the game. I just think that christway is a lot better than they were last year and if they made what most people thought would be a blow out game pretty close, what COULD they do to the same team when most people think the game should be farely close.
And personally i believe christway actually has a very good and fast offense thats capable of scoring around 45 plus on covenant, its just wether they do good enough on defense, which is by FAR their biggest weakness.

3 touchdowns and one 1 point conversion = 19 points

On a wet field, the running attack of Covenant was the better offense. Christway depended on a passing attack and a runner who would juke people and run away from them. When Christway completed passes, they went for good yardage. When he kept his footing, the Christway running back made good yards. But they didn't do it enough and on defense, the superior blocking and running ability of the Covenant team was unstoppable. And when Covenant did pass, they were very effective as well. It was like they really didn't notice the rain.

Covenant scored on every one of their possesions and adjusted to rush the Christway QB with an extra man, which shut down the pass effectively. Covenant was clearly the better team for the night and the conditions. I don't think the outcome would have been different in terms of who won if the field had been dry, but I do think the score would have been closer.

Congrats to Covenant for their win. Good luck against Freddy.
