Which team will feast too much today and lose this weekend?

The two favorites won out. Waco Live Oak over Denton Calvary and Austin Veritas over Cedar Park Summit.

Short week before the Thursday afternoon (?!) game in Bastrop.

This is shaping up to be a highly entertaining game between two evenly matched teams. Both teams have played solid football all year. Austin Veritas is undefeated coming in to the game, and appears to have had tougher competition over the last few weeks in the playoffs. Waco Live Oak comes in having allowed 15 points in its last two matches.

I'm looking forward to this game on Thursday. I expect it will be a close one.
 
I agree, this could be the best of the championship games. I've watched these two teams closely, along with Summit the obvious studs of D2. I have a sneaking suspicion all 3 would be fine in Div1 as well Should be a great display of six man football Thursday!
 
In a strange ranking algorithm phenomena, Summit climbed past Veritas in the rankings this week despite losing to them on Saturday. It was a great game fought between two quality programs, but one would think that the result on the field would not be reversed in the rankings. It's a good thing that championships are not determined by computers.
