week 2 spreads

I don't think MF faith is that big of an underdog to Freddy. I would be surprised if they were to get 45'ed. Of course, it all depends on which team shows up to play (mentally of course).

Freddy will probably win, they are alittle deeper. But, it will probably be a close game until the fourth quarter. Marble Falls doesn't have alot of depth and that will probably catch up to them against Freddy.

All I know is that I would not want the job of deciding the spreads. It must be really tough because teams are improving each week. This is the time of year that freshman start stepping up and getting used to the varsity level games. This is when coaches can implement more of their game plans because players are starting to understand the philosophy.

i seriously doubt anybody is going to get 45'd in the battle for the rock. This is a great game every year. Freddy will probably win, but it will definitely be a hard fought game.

i definitely agree. It's always been a very hard hitting football game. I was just mentioning getting 45'ed because the spread said they would lose by 43, which is basically getting 45'ed. I know spreads aren't accurate this early in the season though and i personally think it will be close.

Yes granger does a great job, and just to clarify in case people thought i was complaining, I am perfectly happy with the spreads. I just personally differ on a few of them. But, it's early in the season afterall and they are based on many different things.

And if you do differ with Granger's ranking and spreads, I understand he offers a full money back guarantee.

Oh, that's right ... they're free.

In the words of that Saturday Night Live legend, Emily Natela (played by the late, great Gilda Radner): "Never Mind."
(If you don't know who she is, first, you're too young; second, google her; and third, get DVD's of the early seasons of SNL when it was really worth watching.)

With our injuries and the way we are playing right now we might not score until the 3rd play anyway. It would depend on if we get our normal first play penalty or not. haha :x
I used it as motivation this week in practice that we are not playing well enough to beat even the memory of Denton Calvary. It is humbling when people take time to write about your school no matter what the topic. Your board is great.
Thanks again Granger and Lifegate for all you two do for us on this board. Coach O'Connor
