Unfortunately I was unable to make the game last night but, from the looks of the score, the WV hung in pretty well. I read where it was tied up at the half 20-20 and WV even had the lead in the second half for a little while. Though it still registers as a loss it is nonetheless encouraging coming on the heels of last week's whitewashing in Hico. Next up is Highland, who comes off a tough loss to Gordon, at the Hornet's home field. Hopefully the Wildcats can notch one up in the victory column against a foe that has traditionally been tough on the WV. More to come on that later.
