WVISD is searching for a Head Girls Varsity Basketball Coach. WVISD has qualified for the UIL state playoffs 8 out of the last 9 years in 1A and 2A including the regional tournament in 2025. Will also coach other sports dependent on experience.
Water Valley ISD is a small school with approximately 150 students in grades 7-12. Water Valley is located 20 miles NW of San Angelo on HWY 87. Water Valley is very successful in academics and all extra-curricular activities.
Education/Certification: All Certification Areas Accepted other than Science.
Prefer Successful Head Varsity Basketball experience or Successful Assistant Varsity Head Coaching experience for minimum of the last 5 years.
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate appropriate for assignment
Must have a CDL or willing to obtain
Competitive Coaching Stipends
11 month contract
375 towards Health Insurance
$10,000 Life Policy
All students eligible for WVISD Foundation scholarship averaging $2,600 per year of attendance from K-12 grade.
