Here's our preseason feature on Live Oak Classical School from Waco, which begins district play this week.

These guys must really buy into the sixmanfootball.com rankings, i''m starting to prefer a more objective MaxPreps ranking system. Sixman seems to rely way to much on strength of schedule, any feedback out there?
 
The Waco Trib loves them some Live Oak. I have been a subscriber and the articles and stories written on Live Oak compared to every other 6-man school isnt even close.
I can remember 1 or 2 stories on Mt Calm; 1-2 stories on Vanguard; 1 story on Abbott; 1 story on Jonesboro; 0 stories on Methodist Children's Home and close to 10 stories on Live Oak over the past 4 -5 years.

I mean, winning state championships, consistently beating public schools, sending a kid to a div I college football program, those types of things get you attention and get you in the paper.

Explain what you mean by "objective". If you mean eliminating the computer program and replacing it with a coaches poll or sportswriters poll, that would not be objective but rather, subjective.
To me the only poll that matters is the one after the championship games. ................

That's a subtle variation of my system; My Team#1........ Everybody else......



The above is an example of a subjective ranking system....................
