The end of "6 Man Football"

I heard today that the UIL is changing sixman division to Class 1A football starting August 1, 2013. So does that mean that this years winners will be the last "6 Man football champions"??? I know they will still continue to.play 6 Man but will be classified as 1A.
6 Man = 1A
1A= 2A
2A = 3A
3A = 4A
4A= 5A
5A = 6A

Were classified as 1A now, what it does is move schools over the six man numbers up to 2A, 2A to 3A, and so on. Basically everyone moved up but us, it's a good move.

To me, all this really does is have the 1A div 2 schools not compete with the larger 1A schools for regional and state competitions in the spring sports and academic meets, that is it. There looks like there will be no 1A baseball, they will have to play 2A, which is the way it is now.
