I have been reading the post from hiscounel and seems to me that you are also bashing the QB. Happen to know this player and family very well; he is an outstanding student and player. Guess you were to busy watching the players on the sideline to notice that the young man threw the only point scoring pass for the east; oh and then snapped the ball for extra point which was no good and for a punt the punter missed. If you where watching then you should have seen the numerous bad snaps that the young man handled pretty good. One snap even went back so far the deep back picked it up and threw the ball to #50. Other times the qb and running back where being tackled at the same time or so close to it the ball never made the exchange. As far as defense how many times did the east let #33 catch the ball. second half #50 played corner and 33 best i remember did not catch a pass on his side of the field. I am not saying he was the greatest player on the east but just standing up for a kid who is also getting bashed along with the coach. other things that should be considered is that some power house east teams drop to D2 and the east / west line is off. Maybe divide the state down I35. Lastly; thank you for being willing to stand up for the boys; but you sure chose the wrong way to do.
