How many snaps did your boy play? Or is your complaint that he didn't throw the ball? Did he play? Or did he stand on sideline? So much of an all star game is being in another system. What if your system was all run or all pass and your son was good at the opposite of what the all star coach taught? All factors. Short amount of time. Teach kids a new system on both sides of the ball is a tough chore for anyone.
The offensive player of the year touched the ball 4 times in the stat line. The player of the year touched it 5 times. Your son threw 2 passes, he did at least get a shot.
I would complain to a service like McDonalds or electric company if I was dissatisfied. But I would do it over the phone or their face. When HS coaches get paid like college or pro. Then they sign up for those head aches of newspaper and ESPN public complaints. I'd like to hope HS doesn't ever get to be on that level.
