Grangers “Power Ranking System” (PRS) will determine TCAL DI post season. After week 10, the top eight teams will advance to the playoffs...1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, 3 vs. 6 and 4 vs. 5. The top four teams will have home field advantage in the quarterfinals. Semifinals will be played at a neutral sight unless otherwise agreed by both coaches.

The “District Standing Formula” (DSF) will determine DII post season. The first place team out of each district will automatically advance to the playoffs. Here is where the DSF will come into play. After week 10, each district will have a combined rating (not ranking) according to Grangers rating system. If there is a district with a low rating, the top district could possibly send three teams. If the top districts third place team has a higher rating that the last place districts second place team, then the third place team in the top district will advance. Below is a hypothetical view of what could happen. This system may be irrelevant if districts are somewhat even across the board.

District 1 Rating
Team 1 215
Team 2 185
Team 3 105
Team 4 50
Total (top 3) 505

District 2
Team 1 200
Team 2 190
Team 3 185
Total 575

District 3
Team 1 130
Team 2 105
Team 3 75
Team 4 25
Total 310

District 4
Team 1 235
Team 2 90
Team 3 85
Team 4 15
Total 460

District 2 would send 3 teams and District 3 would only send 1.

I know we are still fairly early into the season, but how does it work with Jehovah's power rating being higher than schools that have played games this year. Shouldnt those games that where dropped be losses? And shouldnt their power rating go down after each week, or should they be taken off completely. It seems to me that the power ratings are off quite a bit.
