State Championship will be in Trent again this year on November 20.

High Point

Azle Christian

St. Paul's Prep

MW Community

High Point has too many athletes.

Azle Christian is probably one of the deepest teams in some private schools. Very talented and good coaching

St. Paul has the two brothers. I think WCS is a decent that could give the St.Paul a little trouble.

Community Christian. It's hard to go against my old school in Glenview, but I think MW is two tds better.

1 Heath Fulton needs to join TCAF

2 I think the TCAF game of the week is Glenview at MW Community
Without a doubt this game will go 4 quarters. Glenview is strong and plays smash mouth football. As Admin in MW I believe CCS will win but I of the games in TCAF this week this is the close one

3 That game is Friday at 7:30 at Miller Stadium

4 St Paul will be in trouble if WCS is healthy again. If WCS back to 100% then this will be the game of the week.

I agree with you coach about WCS. Coach AW will have them ready. Our Head Of School has mentioned some interest in TCAF, and we will find out what he wants to do next semester. Pros and Cons to TCAF and TAPPS. Don and Cory do a great job over there!

Our team is 12 students
8th grade to 12th grade
Homeschool is 3 students
Injury and grades have us down to nine players.

Glad you brought that up.

If you don't mind me asking, how many 8th graders do you have?

The reason I ask is the fact that TCAF does accept home school students. I hope i'm not opening a new can of worms! Just trying to figure out why you would put a cap on home school students. If #4 came along would you send him away? There is not much difference in TCAL or TCAF, sounds like just a few numbers.

Thanks for your reply!

Yes you would send him along and we did last year.
And two years ago we forfeited our season before it began because our numbers were wrong.
TCAF rules are 25%
I agree fully. Do not want higher or lower. Allowing Homeschoolers to play allowed us to grow. In fact of the 11 in High School 5 were Homeschoolers before.
And growing the school is part of the point of the program.
We do require grade checks for our Homeschoolers.
Allowing too many would defeat the point.

I agree Jeff. I love the TCAF rules regarding homeschoolers. We have not allowed any new homeschoolers for three years. We only have three on varsity and next year that will be two. The coach at Waco Live Oak said they are phasing out homeschoolers as well. I believe with the number of homeschool teams in our area that the need for them to play with schools will stop. TCAF is an awesome organizations and I pray that they do not change or compromise.

Hey Pastor Miles
Need to talk to you asap
Can't figure out how to send a private message on here so send me one and I will send you my number.
It's important.

Also MW CCS won tonight as well.

I agree with low numbers in home school but it should be a # not a % . A school that has 20 kids shouldn't have a better outside advantage over a school in the same district that only has 6.

High Point vs MW Community next Saturday in Springtown.

Azle will play the winner of St Paul/Weatherford

Azle JH will play in Championship game vs Wylie/Nazarene winner.
