Didn't get a chance to post the games ... will try to do so later.
But tournament started with one heck of a game -- 2A Boys Semis between Houston Beren and Boerne Geneva. You might remember all the hoop-de-doo last year; this year TAPPS set up a procedure which allows accomodation for religious reasons, so this game was at 1 pm at Ft Worth Nolan instead of the Mansfield ISD schools.
Anyway, one heck of a start.
Quadruple Overtime ... Beren sends the game to a fourth OT with a three at the buzzer; but Geneva jumps to a 5 point lead which they lose; Beren is up by 1 with less than 30 seconds. Geneva scores at about the 10-14 second mark and the final shot falls short for the Geneva win.
Oh, by the way, Geneva's one of us six man schools.
