The dust is starting to clear and perhaps we can start making some ideas on playoffs. When the final pairings are posted, I'll update this post.
Game 1: Granbury N Central Texas (6-4, D3-2nd) vs D3-2nd
Game 2: Wildcard at Lubbock Kingdom Prep (6-4, D1-1st)
Game 3: Wildcard vs Lubbock Christ the King Catholic (5-4, D1-2nd)
Game 4: Wildcard at Wichita Falls Notre Dame Catholic (10-0, D2-1st)
Game 5: Seguin Lifegate Christian (5-5, D4-2nd) vs Lake Jackson Brazosport Christian (9-1, D5-2nd)
Game 6: Wildcard at D3-1st
Game 7: Wildcard at San Antonio Castle Hills First Baptist (10-0, D4-1st)
Game 8: Wildcard at Alvin Living Stones Christian (9-1, D5-1st)
D3 slots will be determined by results of Heath Fulton vs Longview Trinity game today.
Wildcards -- here's my guess based on data at 1030 am Saturday with wildcard points and district finish
Orange Community Christian 7-3 (23, D5-3rd)
Fredericksburg Heritage 6-4 (19, D4-3rd)
Selma River City Believers 6-4 (16, D4-4th)
Brownwood Victory Life 4-6 (10, D2-3rd, has 2-2 dist record and win over #4 Wichita Falls Wichita Christian)
Wichita Falls Wichita Christian 4-6 (14, D2-4th)
Magnolia Legacy Prep 4-5 (10, D5-4th)
My expectation is that Brownwood and Wichita Christian will be off playing the D1 teams. That means one of the south wildcards (D4/5) needs to travel to Wichita Falls to take on Notre Dame; my expectation is that it will be one of the D4 teams (Freddy or Believers), leaving the remaining D4 wildcard to take on Alvin Living Stones and the two D5 wildcards to take on the D3 and D4 champs.
