TAPPS 7-on-7 in Corsicana on June 26

TAPPS is starting their first 7-on-7 tournament at Corsicana with Div III (11 man) and 6 man on June 26th.

(Remember, the "top number" for D3 11 man in TAPPS is the same as the top enrollment number for 6 man).

There is also a lineman challenge on June 27th.

Do any six man teams play in a 7-on-7 weekly league in the central Texas (Austin/New Braunfels/San Antonio) area? Or is anyone planning to start one with the news of the TAPPS tournament? Please let me know. My team would very much like to participate.

NB Canyon used to run a league every June, but not sure if they still do since many teams are involved in the state SQT 7-on-7 at A&M every year. Problem was the year we competed was that there were lots of 5A schools as well.

I do know of the one at Canyon (graduated from there are a few years back lol) but i was wondering if any private schools/smaller schools had one. Another option is to start up a league... I would need to gauge team interest though. I just think it would benefit our teams to play some more 7-on-7 than just the TAPPS tournament.
