The Sterling City Eagles open district play hosting the Veribest Falcons October 12th, 2012 @ 7:30 p.m.

I love the pictures you use as the background for your posts. I used to live in Sterling and remember some of those places well. I can't say I remember seeing a castle there (Paducah) and I haven't, as of yet, laid eyes on the new turf field but I certainly remember the train depot in the background (Garden City). Of course, the water tank (Veribest) and the road heading into Sterling City (Grady) haven't changed since I left there in '85. Good luck to the Eagles from here on out.

Thanks WV Backer..... I am running out of Ideas. I need to work on the Indian game and look forward to making the WV Wildcats picture (I was thinking of using a picture I have of one of your cheerleaders wearing a purple Eagles shirt, but I do not think my son or his girlfriend would find that too funny....lol) You are right, there is no castle in Paducah. I thought it looked good with the dragon though. Yes, our field (Eagle Stadium) is coming along very nicely. We have a new field (turf), concession stand, and broadcaster booth. For all the teams out there, EAGLE Stadium is now a great place to host playoff games
