Funding has been cut to school district's as of last night in relation to 11 man Frisco high passed a pay for play middle school cost $100 high school $200 per sport,a few other school district's are doing this also.

It will trickle down to the sixman game, this usher's in the era of academy teams independent of campus setting you have known, now who does this put pressure on .... you got it the current coaching system, kids as of today really don't have to set foot on the current school grounds the state has an open charter free school program that can be taken online or in a setting, but they could train study and operate just like college players.

Some school's are saying they will offer scholarships for those who can't afford the fee, but look for that to become selective.

Katy ISD, Dripping Springs, Grapevine, and Fort Worth have been doing it for a while now. Some of those schools allow zero fundraising. This helps with that instead of having kids fundraiser for the program. Also, those that are on free/reduced lunch are given a lower fee or completely waived. Refunds are given if a kid is cut but not for one that quits. I'm sure there are parents who believe they have more say now because they are paying for the extra curricular but I'm pretty sure those parents would complain anyway.
