This week I'd like to say congratulations to the week 2 Player of the Week, Rey Flores - Southland.
Rey is the Senior leader of the team every game and has been a four year starter on both sides of the ball. Last week, in Southland's 81-36 victory over Lubbock Christ the King, Rey completed 55% of his passes (6/11) for 208 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also carried the ball on the ground 16 times for 201 yards (12.6 ypc) and 4 touchdowns. He also had 1 pass reception for 5 yards. Defensively, Rey contributed with 7 tackles, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup.
