Six man schools with Tracks

I need some help Kopperl ISD is looking at the pros and cons of building a 8 lane Track at a community meeting, next month what we need from the six man world is #1 how many six man schools have a track, #2 how many schools around Kopperl would consider coming to Kopperl if we were fortunate enough to get a track, #3 we need some names of good companies to use for building a quality track.

Strawn's no longer Red Dog. They have an 8 lane rubber which is in need of repair already. Gordon has a black track also

We just completed our football facility at Hermleigh with a track last fall. Carter Construction built it all and did a great job making sure it was done to our liking.

Red Dog Materials is still in Strawn but
their track is now that recycled black rubber,
not crushed brick.

I bet you fell a couple times on that stuff didn't you?
Mmmmmmm....good times!

When was the last time u was in Gordon? Its a rust colored track now. Still only 6 lanes though.

I have not seen an 8-lane track at any 6-man facility I've been to. I think they are mostly all 6-lane.

I would always watch for those guys taking falls on a cinder track back then. Being a shot/discus guy who was just too slow for the running events, I was always finished by noon and had plenty of time to sniff after the girls.

I spent many nights helping line that track in Strawn before our track meets when I was in junior high!

Why go new and fancy like them Big City schools, just go old fashion, with good ole caliche style track,like Lometa.
