Y'all, I'm excited to get to announce this great new opportunity for six-man football players all throughout Texas! This is something I'm very excited about seeing come to fruition and I can't wait to see what this does for our small-school athletes, and the opportunities that this opens up for those who want to go play football at the next level.

Beginning this year, GOAT Farm Sports, the creators of the US Army Bowl, and GameFilm Network, creators of WatchGameFilm, have partnered with the Texas Sixman Coaches Association, SixManFootball.com and Texas 1A Fan to promote and showcase six-man football and its community.

In the coming months, there will be even more information on the opportunities that are offered to your school's program. We hope that you will take the time to learn about the benefits and opportunities being offered to six-man football throughout Texas. These opportunities are offered to all Texas 1A leagues including UIL, TAPPS, TAIAO, etc.

Here's the official press release:

NFL legends like Emmitt Smith coached in the Bowl and NFL stars like former Cowboy Micah Parsons high school All-American participated as a guest celebrity.

The Bowl and its video partner, WatchGameFilm, will work together to comprehensively scout and invite top 6-man athletes to compete in the All-American Bowl (for top rising seniors) and the National Combine (for top rising underclassmen). WatchGameFilm is providing its film platform to 6-man coaches for free so teams can help their athletes capture game film to use for recruiting purposes.

For the first time ever, the Bowl recognized two top athletes from 6-man football as "All-Americans". Ry Reed and Stryker Reed, both of Gordon High School (Gordon TX) were selected as 2025 All-Americans for the upcoming Military Bowl game this December.

In addition to naming 6-man athletes to our All-American team and adding them to our gameday rosters, each 6-man head coach will be allocated two official invitations to the National Combine for their top underclassmen. The Bowl will also provide each 6-man head coach with a free VIP/Sideline Pass to the Bowl on game day and provide a breakout during Bowl Weekend by former NFL coaches and recruiting experts from Signing Day Sports and Tom Lemming, a nationally recognized recruiter. Both parties sit on the Bowl selection team.

Rich McGuinness, Chairman of Goat Farm Sports and creator of the U.S. Army Bowl, shared his excitement for this Bowl development. "Our local scouts and Joe Kirsh from WatchGameFilm have been raving about the talent and hidden gems competing today in 6-man football. Top talent comes from everywhere these days, as our scouts look to every corner of America and in other countries to select the "best of the best". Hopefully, we can help shine a spotlight on the best of 6-man football and expand opportunities for them to attend the Bowl in future years", McGuinness stated.

Joe Kirsh, founder of WatchGameFilm stated, "We are excited to be a part of a group focused on amplifying a style of contact football that doesn't get recognized enough nationally. 6-man football requires a special type of athlete; one that has both speed and physicality.
