Seguin football must have a chip on their shoulder. as great as kids and adults that they have their not showing it though. seguin had a great team last year but didnt make it. this year a pretty good team as well. seguinlifegate and lifegatesports (i get them confused) talk about their team just as respectable as anybody. yet everyone says Brenham. i had picked brenham as well buuuut Seguin is gonna be scary. Heath Fulton has been talked up as well. lets see what team is returning who and who is out because of grades

Actually, the Matadors (Seguin HS) stink on ice. They may improve in a couple years because they brought in a pretty smart coach from LaGrange, but with Cibolo Steele, New Braunfels and the Judson schools in their district, it ain't a pretty sight.

As for Lifegate, Brenham has scoreboard and still ain't been beat. The smart money says they're the favorite.

But if we all make it that far, let's go ahead and play the game on the field and see what happens.

well make no mistake about it. our goal is to win state. that being said we lost fair and square last year to brenham and they've played a tougher schedule than us so far this year... it really doesn't bother us or the kids at all... just lets them know their gonna have to bring their A game to beat these guys. we'll see what happens in november. thanks for the compliment though. you and 7th man are becoming their favorite people... nothing makes me laugh harder than when the kids come up to me "coach swick coach swick, WE HAVE ANOTHER FAN!!!" haha
