I know this is a couple weeks late, but San Marcos Hill Country Christian School took a hit from the flooding on the Blanco River on Memorial Day Weekend .... here's a couple links to stories, and fund raising for the school.

What started out as a negative has turned into a positive! It looked grim when the first few feet of the school's building was ravaged by the flash flood on May 24th - especially since this private, non-profit school which runs on charitable principles isn't eligible for flood insurance.

But since then over 100 volunteers have shown up to make repairs, and donations have been pouring in from all over in order to give them the materials they need.

Help us raise $10,000 for the school's flood relief!

Until June 15, there is a challenge from a husband and wife from the area for MATCHING DONATIONS to the school up to a limit of $5,000!

Donate via the school's PayPal account here:

add "Double Donation" in the comments section. This school meant a lot to us growing up, and we would like to see future generations continue to be impacted there as we were.

Be a part of this. Only 9 days left!
