Saint Jo Lady Panther Summer Events 2016
Hello coaches! I hope that you are having a successful end to your season and good luck in the playoffs. It is exciting to send out information on our opportunities for your team this summer!! All of our events feature games played in air-conditioned gyms, great hospitality room for coaches, concession stand for your teams and provide washing facilities for you to use. Also, unlike many tournaments and camps, we PROVIDE officials and scorekeepers so you can focus on the important thing: coaching your team!! Saint Jo is located just west of Gainesville, TX. It is within an hour and half drive of OKC, DFW, Lawton, Tyler, Wichita Falls and Durant. Due to having 2 gyms available, we will have limited spots available! Please find below the specifics on each of our camps and tournaments. We offer discounts for bringing multiple teams plus if you came last year, you get a 5% discount for returning!!
HS & JH Team Tournament June 4 Cost $150/team
This is a one day tournament which will feature 3 Full length games for each team. (HS 8 min quarters, JH 6 min quarters). The clock will start/stop the same as a game. Attempts will be made to make sure you don’t play anyone on this upcoming years schedule until the third game. The first HS game will start at 9:00 with the first JH game starting at 10:00. (There is a maximum of 8 teams, minimum of 4 teams in each division).
HS Team Camp June 6-8 Cost $300/Team Commuting; $400/team overnight
Our premier experience! Your team will get 8 games plus a single elimination tournament at the end. Monday and Tuesday games will be 2-18 min halves with a running clock until the last minute of the game. Wednesday morning games will be one 20 min game running clock until the last 2 mins. The tournament is one 8 min quarter, with the clock stopping like a normal game. That is a minimum of 9 games for around $33/game which is about the lowest you can find anywhere!!! In addition, there is a movie night one evening and a free-throw/three-point shooting contest the other night. For coaches, we will have a steak night as well! This is all included in the team price! Plus, we will have an athletic trainer on site for any issues you may have! Try to find that somewhere else!! We will also be offering an overnight option for teams wanting to stay. Breakfast will be provided for those teams. This will be a first class experience with low costs for your athletes!! (This is a maximum of 24 teams total)
JH Team Camp June 9-10 Cost $200/Team; No overnight!!
Ran like our HS team camp only shorter length due to JH age kids. You will get 5 games plus a single elimination tournament at the end. Regular games will be 2-18 min quarters with a running clock until the last minute of the game. The tournament will be one 6 minute quarter with clock stopping like a normal game. We will also have a 3 point and free-throw contest for the players as well. (There is a maximum of 20 teams!!)
