He was teammate at all star game in Levelland. Wished many a time I would have earholed him. Kind of surprised I am not secretary of something. Ha

He would have been an up grade in football talent at A&M but decide to be a yell leader instead. Go figure.. Meanwhile Texas ran off a 30 game winning streak and two national championships in the late 60's. And Mack will certainly be missed.

He scored the game tying TD for Paint Creek in the 1967 (his senior year of football) Bi-District game against Hobbs on a Pick 6 with less than 3 mins left in the game...I believe they went for 1pt conversion and made it for the win 26-25.
