Rankin ISD is searching for a Secondary Social Studies Teacher with coaching duties. Coaching Duties include Sub-varsity Cross Country, Sub-varsity Girls Basketball, Sub-varsity Girls Track, Spring Sport (possibly a head tennis or golf position - depending on experience).
Our girls program are the reigning 2016-2017 District 10-A Champions in Cross Country, Basketball, Track & Field and Golf, and we will graduate no one this spring. Great numbers and plenty of opportunity to head coach a sub-varsity basketball program.
Bachelor's Degree with Texas certification in Composite Social Studies (possibly someone with a 4-8 Generalist who is willing to obtain a Composite Social Studies certification).
Rankin ISD is a small 1-A school in West Texas with excellent facilities and competitive compensation (coaching stipend ranges from $6000-$8000 depending on coaching assignment). District contributes $645.00 per month toward health insurance, low rent school housing, 5% matching annuity, annual teaching performance bonus of $3,000, annual retention bonus of $2,000.00, $40,000.00 Life Insurance Policy paid for by the district.
