Tanner Hodgkins – Strawn – 13-201 yards, 4 TDs rushing; 10 tackles, 2 sacks
Against a stout Iredell squad, Tanner Hodgkins’ game play embodied how Strawn’s overall team performance as he rushed for over 200 yards on just 13 carries, scoring four times, and was in on 10 tackles with several for a loss and 2 big sacks as the Greyhounds rolled past Iredell 68-22.

Jackson Floyd – Weatherford Christian – 388 yards of total offense; 11-197 yards, 2 TDs rushing; 7-9 for 191 yards, 3 TDs passing
Floyd was great for the Lions as they beat Faustina Academy 73-66. Weatherford was down 44-42 at the half but had a huge third quarter that vaulted them to victory. Floyd’s 388 yards of total offense, namely his 7-9 passing with 3 completions going for TDs, was key!
Tye Scogin – Jayton – 24-354 yards, 7 TDs rushing; 1-46 yards, 1 TD receiving
A great night running the rock for Scogin as Jayton held on to beat Grandfalls-Royalty 66-52.
Damyan Woodwad – Milford – 4 INTs, 3 tackles; 70 yards of offense
4 INTs in a single game is a great defensive performance, and being able to pick off that many in big playoff game is even more impressive. Woodwad’s four INTs was a big factor in Milford’s 51-38 win over Union Hill.
Key Davis – Oakwood – 11-167 yards, 3 TDs rushing; 3-85 yards, 3 TDs receiving; 11 tackles; 3 PAT kicks
Key Davis scored 42 of his team’s 66 points as Oakwood defeated Richland Springs 66-56 to advance to their first ever semi-final game.
Cesar Chavez – Garden City – 18 tackles, 2 INTs, 1 fumble recovery, 1 defensive TD
Raul Almazan – Garden City – 24 tackles
This defensive duo were major players on defense as the Bearkats shut down the Bears offense as Garden City beat Balmorhea 48-14. Hard to choose between them so both get a HM nod here.
Christian Barber – Follett – 5-5 for 72 yards, 3 TDs passing; 8-42 yards, 1 TD rushing
Dylan Howard – Follett – 14-124 yards, 1 TD rushing
Barber’s perfect night passing was key to Follett’s victory over Motley County. Defensively he was also a big standout for the Panthers. Howard was his team’s leading rusher as they grinded it out on the ground to beat Motley County 48-18.
Ben Crockett – McLean – 22-171 yards, 3 TDs rushing; 1-19 yards receiving; 11 tackles, 2 sacks
Another big night for Crockett as McLean shutout White Deer 45-0.

Fraga also had a solid night against Iredell averaging over 13 ypc and scoring 5 total touchdowns for the Greyhounds.

Degan rushed for three touchdowns bringing his season total up to 72 which ties him with 1995 DeWayne Miles for the most in a single season. He ends the season with over 3,600 yards rushing.
