Prayers for the Rigdon family.

Did something happen that made you bump a two year old thread?
Yes. Looking at the recent Rigdon thread it popped up at the bottom of the page at the top of this new feature of Mike's called similar threads. So, we'll blame it on him, Granger used to get blamed for everything didn't he?
Having not seen it in a couple of years I clicked on it. It got me to thinking. Two years ago, was his first in Benjamin after the freshman year in Strawn. It made me think if the accident had resulted in more serious injuries, say "just" a broken leg, there would be no now. Thank God there were none, for their sake, nothing to do with football.
That got me to thinking back on his freshman year. Watching him develop early on via the Microplex News streaming of games. Thinking wow, this kid is good, really good, then later seeing him in person.
Then about an interview of Coach Lee after the 2021 state championship game. He said something to the effect of that first couple of games he didn't know how good he was or could be. He needed encouragement.
Last it made me think of the recent DCTF article on his progress at Coumbus. He was disciplined by Coach Schobel in practice for not hitting the hole hard enough. Sent to do up-down's. Afterwards, asked by the coach, your first time to get chewed out? Yeah. Get used to it.
I can't imagine him spending a season under Coach Lee and never getting his ass chewed out. Everybody does. There is always room for improvement, to learn from mistakes. He points them out no matter who you are. Ask his players over the years.

Everything you just said was just one giant nothingburger. Take your Metamucil and go to bed.

@51eleven so what was he like in person as good as they say? Surely it was better in person rather then that ole micro village thing. Is he making a hand at Columbus I wonder.? I have not seen anyone post about him and was starting to worry there would be nothing else to talk about here
