We are a small Christian school in Corsicana TX, we are looking for a jv game this weekend or possible varsity game> please respond to topic or call or text Coach Michael Massey at 903-851-0853
Coach ... take a look at this list. At first glance, I see several good options if they are open: Dallas Winston, Arlington St Paul Prep, Fort Worth Christian Life, Garland Central Park Christian, Temple Centex Home School (I believe they lost their opponent this week), Waco Parkview Christian, and Wylie Saints Home School. You should be able to find contacts by an internet search for the school and a phone number.
Any of these teams 1 st year start ups or are they teams that we can compete with! Being 1 st year I dont want to lose my players due to hard losses like being 45, this happened to me at another school and the kids just lost interest because of major losses! We are very young but fast and all are new to football.

Arlington St Paul and Fort Worth Christian Life haven't played for a year or two; Garland is a first year school; Dallas Winston plays a limited JV schedule. Waco Parkview is returning to sixman after a year combined with another school.
Best thing to do is to call folks and see if they're open and tell them that you're looking for a competitive game ...
I always tell folks of scheduling our initial games back in 2003 at Seguin Lifegate. Had a hard time filling that opening game and one day, the phone rings and it's my good friend, Beck Brydon, from Austin Regents ... two time state champion (and would be three-time once that season was over) asking if we would be open to play at Regents week zero.
I politely decline Beck's generous offer with a laugh, citing my possible personal liability under the child endangerment statutes of the State of Texas. Probably would have been the first and last game of Lifegate football ...
I get what you are saying, its very hard to compete against guys who have 20 or more kids on the side line with fresh legs. I am not scared or worried to face better teams just want to do so in the later part of the season. Our game against campbell the kids where huge compared to our average player 5'9'' and 140 lbs theres looked like 6'0'' or better they had one kid who was better than 6'1'' as my son is 6'1'' and this kid was big and not fat maybe 250 or better.. but our speed helped us there... there are good team we just got one good long run and had good pass coverage...
