Nebraska and Kansas 6man football question?

I read an article that both Kansas and Nebraska (obviously) play 6man football but both states do not recognize them as a members of their eqivilant to the UIL. How do these schools afford this if they are basically independents playing for a non-recognized state championship. Who foots the bill??

Found it on the homepage under history...
By comparison, 19 teams play in New Mexico, 16 in Colorado and 15 in Montana, the only other states sanctioning state championships. (writer's.note: of course there are several teams in various states, like Nebraska and Kansas, which play six-man football that is not sanctioned by the state association.

Shouldve done more research, Kansas will be recognized as of next year (fall 2022) and apparently is recognized in Nebraska.

Hope they don't let them play any of their girls, it would give them an unfair advantage kind of like when Strawn had their State Champion kicker.
