Menard ISD is still seeking a girls coach for our program. This would be an assistant position for all girl's sports, but has high possibility of being much more. This position has the opportunity to play a massive role in our girls basketball program, as well as potential for a girl's coordinator and head softball for the right candidate.
Teaching fields are JH generalist or HS SPED. Our SPED program is run well through our region center and it is an extremely good schedule for a coach, having about 3-5 kids throughout the day and not in the traditional classroom.
Menard is located in south central Texas in between San Angelo and Fredericksburg, one hour to both. Menard is located right on the San Saba river and is in close proximity to some of Texas most popular river locations as well as San Antonio. We are making the transition from 2A to 1A and enrollment is still very high.
