MARFA can't play looking for a game for this week asap!

The Marfa team is unable to play this Friday so Nueces Canyon is looking for a game ASAP they just let me know this morning yes on a Tuesday.....

Per UIL since both team had players involved in the altercation both schools (Marfa and Sanderson) must forfeit their next scheduled game.

So if I were you I'd double check with the UIL to see if you can schedule another game (assuming you can) as technically they have awarded you a forfeit win if you choose to take it

Oh yeah, what a great idea; let's punish Nucese Canyon for having the gall to schedule Marfa! I mean, there are only two public sixman schools within 2 hours of Barksdale. It's not like one of their district games is like 3 or 4 hours away. I am sure this will make Utopia, Knippa, D'Hannis and the other schools out that way want to play sixman! I love the UIL's logic!

On a serious note, maybe Nucese Canyon could play Garden City's JV since Sanderson can't play either? Can Sanderson host a game? If not, maybe you could see if Marathon takes care of their field! I guess Eden, Veribest, or Paint Rock might be options.
