Loraine School is looking to fill a JH/HS Girls coaching Position for the 2025- 2026 school year.
Coaching Position:
Assistant volleyball
possibly Head Girls Basketball,
assistant Track,
possibly Head Girls Cross Country
Great Facilities with a top Notch Game Gym and very good "Practice" Gym
We Have 8 girls returning from a year that saw us have full seasons in Volleyball, Basketball, & track. We bring up 2 8th graders next year and look to have 16-20 Girls participating in Sports in JH for 2025-2026 School Year. Our Girls are young but eager to learn and a lot of excitement about the future.
Certification: Is Open besides P.E.; Will consider alt cert programs and student teaching candidates. Looking for best candidate & best fit!
Loraine ISD is an EC-12 school with approximately 140 students and 38 total staff members. Loraine is located an hour west of Abilene on I-20, about 75 minutes north of San Angelo, and 30 minutes south of Snyder. Our current calendar is a 4 day/5 day calendar (every other Friday off).
We are seeking a teacher with a "kids-first" mentality and tech-savvy approach to student engagement and instruction. The right fit for our campus will be a professional who is willing to be a positive, team-player who embraces an instructional environment centered on intentional professional growth.
School housing is available at $150 a month rent
Salary:
-2k above base
-$6000 coaching stipend
-science stipend $2000
-10 month & 10 days
-4day/5day hybrid
-$1000 a year towards your kids college every year they are in school at Loraine and graduate.
-Christmas stipend $1000
-retention stipend 5% of your salary every year you stay
-100,000 life insurance policy
- 5 State/5 Local days per year.
- $350 per month towards insurance.
