David Sanders- looking for coaching jobs in 6man football, cross country, basketball, and track.
I enjoy coaching all 4 of these sports but am looking for a job coaching one or any combination of these sports.
Coached these sports at Heritage Classical for the past 2 years:
Varsity Football:
14-8 record as a Varsity Head Coach
Bi-District Finalists in 6Man TAPPS DIVISION 1 in 2007
State Quarterfinalists in 6Man TAPPS DIVISION 2 in 2008
Basketball:
With only 7 players turned a team coming off only 4 wins in 5 years to a 14-16 season and a run at playoffs.
Varsity Girls Bi-District Finalists TAPPS 2A IN 2008
Currently head coaching 3 teams: Junior high girls, varsity girls (8-9, 1-0), and varsity boys (6-5, 1-0)
Track:
Began the track program at Amarillo Heritage Classical Academy with a small team in 2008 but was still ended the season very well
Head Coached Junior High and High School Girls and Boys Track
Varsity Boys TAPPS 2A Discus 6th place in Regionals
Varsity Girls TAPPS 2A 4th place 200M runner at State, 4x400M Relay 4th place at State, 6th place 800M (8 girls qualified for Regionals and 7 went on to state)
Will Head Coach all 4 track teams again this spring
Education:
Graduated High school in 2004 from Plainview Christian Academy
High School Valedictorian 4.0 GPA
Earned Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayland Baptist University in 2007
-History major, English and Music double minor, finished in only 3 years
Magna Cum Laude 3.883 GPA
Extras:
Served as Athletic Director at Heritage Classical from 2007-Present
Hold a temporary teaching certificate
Working on Masters of Education in Higher Education with Abilene Christian University
Taught junior high world civ. in 2007-2008
Taught Spanish II in 2007-2008
Am currently teaching Freshmen-Sophomore Bible
Am currently teaching Spanish I
Obtained Commercial Drivers License in 2007 with Passenger and School Bus endorsements
