Knox City 6on6/ Basketball weekend

Knox City is needing 2 more teams for our 6on6/Basketball weekend.

Each team will play 5 games of each during the 2 day span.

$30 per athlete, $300 maximum if team is more than 10

Overnight housing is available

Same weekend as Brazos Bowl, will be done in time to go watch.

The Brazos Bowl is June 21 in Knox City starting at 7:00PM. We still have 4 or 5 roster spots available if anyone knows of someone that would like to play.

Could you explain the 6on6/basketball weekend?

Is there a 6 on 6 tournament AND a basketball tournament?

Yes,

We have 8 teams. 2 Pools of four. Will play 3 pool games of each fball and bball on fri.

We will take top 2 teams from bball pool* and put them in a 4 team bracket then put bottom 2 in the other.

Play the bracket games in bball and fball and determine the champion. So two games each on saturday. We only have 1 gym and using a practice field for fball. Trying to get done in plenty of time before Brazos Bowl.



*We are using bball to determine bracket because it is an SQT. For more info on that you can visit

Coach Steele-When do you expect to release the roster of players from which the coaches will get to draft? Hearing through the grapevine that you have a quality bunch lined up to coming to Knox City to play. Best 6-Man all-star situation I have ever seen unless the coaches mess up the draft. lol Thanks for any update you can give.

I am in the process of finalizing the roster. Waiting on a couple guys to finish paperwork. Should be set around last week of school.

Still no final roster for Brazos Bowl? We know Coach Steele is awfully busy, but just curious since the game is now only 8 days away and was starting to make plans for next weekend but want to see if there are enough kids playing that I am familiar with to 'tweak my interest' to make me drive over 300 miles to watch. Any update would certainly be appreciated. The announced coaches are almost enough to entice me to make the drive, but who the players are will push me over the top or make me decide to stay home.
