A quick hello to old friends on the boards. Haven't been on the boards in a long while. Haven't kept up much with the six man game since my family ties and links to the game were kinda severed when Coach Hoskins retired from the game a few years back.

Have missed being on and conversing with forum members across the state. That may change some now that I have a new reason to "tune in" on the happenings in the six man world.

That is the second reason for my post today. A hearty good luck and best wishes to Coach Abney as he has taken the reigns at New Home. Will be following his progress as he builds the program there I know he will.

So Coach A. give 'em heck and keep 'em honest with •• Cover None •• .....

Oh a quick hello to Granger also, nice to see you and the TOY are still around....

All is well I would say. Getting older here as well ... Have been on the planet now a year longer than the Docs gave me 7 years ago. Only really bad thing is I'm starting to feel the age some no matter what lies I try and tell the body and the mind ... LOL

I see a few of the old heads are still hammering away at the keyboards. It is nice to see a few familiar member names as I click around through the threads.

Have kinda lost touch with he six man world. Starting attending our home town high school games with my father in law. He needed someone to accompany him especially to away games so I got the assignment. A very enjoyable one though.

Hopefully will be around some this year. Hope to converse with you and the others as the season progresses.

My man....thanks for the "hello". I don't get on the board much but heard you had resurfaced so I had to check it out. Would love you to come down to a game or two and let you share your "insights" w Coach Baeza. I was smart enough to go back to offense when I took this gig! Hope you, the family and all involved are doing well. Ken checks in on me every week or two. Wants to make sure I'm running 36 Sweep Load right and still throwin deep curls. Hope to see you soon! Nope Bear - no Skybox. And worse than that - NO HOTDOGS ... they don't serve HOT DOGS at the concession stand. They have Chick Fil A as a main offering ...

I am sorry but that is just so wrong on so many levels. IMHO.

Did get to place my derriere in their new stands though. Nice. Got to sit by Coach A's Family and visit.

All in all a great night. Coach A gets his first victory, it was his sons 16th birthday, beautiful night to play, the team got through with no injuries, I got to see a good game and had a good post game visit with Coach A.

To top it all off, got to drive back through Lubbock and drive through at Der Wienerschnitzel and get my hot dogs. It was a win win night for me.
