Six-man fan
I've been around a lot of football programs in the past 17 years. Three states, five different levels. This past Friday night, not only did we play a team physically gifted, but we played a team well coached and well disciplined. Granted, we both had players ejected, but one momentary lack of restraint did not take away from the class act displayed by Jonesboro's team and coaches. I have never left a field with more respect for a team and coaching staff than I did Friday night. While we came up a little short on the scoreboard, I wanted to extend a public appreciation for their program. Coach Gallegos has a top-notch program and carries himself with a respect for the game and his opponents. Thank you for being a great example for all those coaches who forget we're teaching more than just the game of football. What a refreshing suprise and I look forward to next years matchup!
