ICISD has two secondary teaching positions to fill that can be tied to coaching - JH Science, HS Science, or HS Digital Art preferred - No PE certs
Coaching Assignments: Flexible but could include: Head XC, Assistant FB (possible DC), Assistant Basketball, Head Powerlifting, Assistant Track, Assistant Tennis, Head Golf - all depending on experience and best fit for the program.
Girls Athletics: returning 2 starters and 5LM from Basketball State Semifinal Team. Five returners from regional tennis, including 1 state champion in mixed doubles. Returning 3 out of 4 on state relays. Great kids in the program from 6th grade all the way up that will be highly competitive in all sports for years to come.
Boys Athletics: Football State Semifinal Team this year. Basketball has been in the regional tournament the past 5 years in a row, with a trip to the state tournament in 2022. Losing a great senior group but we have some really good athletes coming up to go with the returning high school kids. They will be highly competitive in all sports for year to come.
Highschool: A Rated School district and campus. Highly competitive academic UIL program with multiple state qualifiers and champions over the past 20 years.
Elementary: A Rated campus that is highly competitive in academic UIL and offers multiple educational opportunities outside of the classroom such as the HEB Camp and the yearly 6th grade trip.
Band: Perennial power marching/concert band - Marching 2017 Bronze, 2019 State Champs, 2021 Bronze. Concert and sight reading sweepstakes for past 5 years.
FFA: Highly competitive in CDE and LDE and Ag Mechanics competitions year after year.
Scholarships: Local scholarships combine to exceed $100,000 each year for graduating seniors.
Salary schedule and stipends: Highly competitive for the area. We get a winter and spring bonus each year. School housing possibly available.
