Iredell and Three Way

Before I travel 2 1/2 hrs., can Three Way stay in this game. I know they have not played top rated teams but they are impressive for allowing just 14 points in 8 games. Three Way has Mercy ruled everyone. Iredell has Mercy ruled everyone they beat, two loses, but gave up 24 and 38 points to the two common opponents they have played and Three Way gave up 8 to one of them. Opinions needed and occasionally a serious one.

I think Three Way will win for 3 reasons. Lol
1. Being a 45 point underdog when undefeated is a motivator.
2. Weak schedule or not allowing 14 points all year is impressive.
3. Outcomes of last 2 common opponents figures in to me.

Regardless of the outcome I definitely take Three Way and the points.

Three Way is having a great year by Three Way's standards but the wins have been against very weak opponents. They have proven they are better than very weak teams. Iredell is having a decent year with a tougher schedule and are somewhere in the middle. This will be a battle between weak and mediocre. I will take mediocre by 24.

Nobody knows how good Three way is this year cause they haven't played anyone. Sidney made the playoffs last year and played close to Richland Springs so if the boys Three Way got from there were big parts of that team then they should be about as good or better than last year's Sidney team. The teams they've both played Three Way beat better though so I'll go with Three Way by more than 20.

I was present for Bluff Dale and Three Way. Bluff Dale dropped at least 6 TD passes, where kids were standing wide open. Also Bluff Dale lost its starting QB in the first quarter of the game (broken collarbone). However not sure that would have changed the outcome but the game should have been a lot closer, when the emotional roller coaster came Bluff Dale couldn’t respond.

Also I believe Iredell is banged up, missing some guys. Should be a dog fight, would definitely make the trip to watch, I am.

Yes, The QB was our 3rd starter to go down. Only one player caught all the passes put in his hands; everyone else dropped multiple (three to four each) passes that were put right on them, as WestTexasKid said. Missing half of the starters on defense really killed us on that end. I wish we could have played them at full strength. It would've been a good game, but it is what it is. Bluff Dale let their emotions get to them and was not ready for Three Way, who blocked well and has an underrated defense.

For the Iredell game, Bluff Dale got one of those starters back. It was a 12 point game at halftime. Our kids were driving the field on the first possession of the 3rd quarter, to cut the lead to 4 when that starter went down. That, along with some bizarre calls seemingly took over our kids and I'm not sure they scored more than 6 more points the rest of the game (went to 1-2 minutes left in the game).

I'm pretty sure Three Way is healthy. Iredell may be missing their fastest player. Based on our boys performance against them, as well as the eye test, I'm going to go with Three way by 10.
