I need some TV viewing help for the NFL

11-man fan
I have made a decision not to watch any NFL game where a team involved has a player who is a known drug user, convicted felon, indicted felon, NCAA Rules violator or has been involved in spousal abuse. I think I should also include players who don't know how to wear their pants above their azz (Des Bryant for one) or haven't shot themselves.

Can anyone point me to a game on the schedule that might meet that criteria ?

Thanks in advance ....

Might try Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives reruns. That has been my choice. Not a NFL fan, never have. People think I am nuts (probably for more reasons than my not liking NFL) but just me. Refuse to watch NBA, repeat your objections.

Watch the Packers. They're pretty clear about no funny stuff.

Johnny Jolly has been suspended for at least a year (probably this one too) for all sorts of stupid stuff. If the NFL reinstates him, expect the Pack to cut him in a New York minute.

One of the DB's (I think) got into trouble for slapping around his soon-to-be-divorced wife on the same day they came to GB to pick up their SB rings. I think he's already on a bus outta town.

Of course, it's tough to hide any little stuff like that in Green Bay. It's a small town and EVERYBODY knows who the Packers are ... won't say they're all saints (none of us are) ... but the bar is set much higher. Well, I do remember my momma telling of all her fellow nursing students going out on dates with the Packers back in the '30's (over the nuns' edicts not to...my momma, God rest her Irish soul, never did, so she says...)

Yeah but unless they scrimmage themselves every week you would still have to schedule ne'er-do-wells.

So, that means every week you get to see the triumph of good over evil (especially when Evil comes packaged as the Chicago Bears or Minnesota Vikings or Al Qaida, the latter of the three has not yet been awarded an NFL franchise, but is as evil as the previous two...)

Getting borderline ... dang near as bad ... it's just pro football on a little lower level and the players just don't get paid above the table ...
