Groom vs Follett

It's time either one of these teams are very capable of going to the semis who takes it.

I'll take my Groom tigers by 12.

Are you Groom-ing them, or will your team Follett down?

Are both teams healthy going in to the matchup? How does the bi-district round shape up for both teams?

The winner here will face the easier opponent for bi district. The runner up will most likely get to face #4 Motley County.

Who ever has to face motley co will have to stop one of the best Running backs he has had 4 games with over 400 yards and 11 TDs in all four games. I think follett will win this game vs groom.

It's not just him yall have worry about me have a big offense line that are great at blocking and we have spread on offense and defense. And groom doesn't have good luck with matador in playoff games.

Motley County has definitely overachieved this season, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see them get bounced in the playoffs by either Groom or Follett. You should probably hope that whatever in the world happened last year in Matador going into the first round doesn’t happen again because I know that HUGE upset by Whitharral stung.

The only reason MC lost first round was bc they didn't come to play n our running back got hurt in first Quarter. This year he's on mission. Win or lose y'all best believe we going down fighting

Didn’t come to play? I agree. But y’all were more than just your running back. Believe me I know because when y’all played Petersburg your transfer from Guthrie (#7) caught several TDs and Fisk was a solid full back. Whitharral had no business competing with y’all, but hats off to them. They dang sure did.
I do agree that MC will play like they have something to prove. They are a salty bunch and as I’ve said, they’ve overachieved this season already. Kudos to Coach Bigham.

D2 just doesn’t have any powerhouse teams this year. I really think it’s up for grabs. MC has overachieved, and I think they can go all the way. I also think Follett or Groom could thump them any given night. I’m going to give this game to Groom by 16. If Groom will keep Follett spread out and make one stop defensively, they’ll seal it. As to Groom or Follett playing MC, that RB is good but Groom has 5 kids on the field as fast as him. Follett just has great coaching and they’ll game plan for him. When MC played Follett in 2014, they just got out maneuvered.

I agree. I don’t really see a powerhouse and it should be competitive throughout the post season. Whitharral has not lost this year, but they’re not as impressive as one would think. They can lose in the first couple rounds. Same with Anton, not very impressed with this squad. Balmorhea and Sands are gone from D2, but they would’ve been competitive. MC as I’ve stated has overachieved and can go far. Same can be said about Groom and Follett. Then you have Blackwell also. (I know I may be missing a couple other teams.) But out west it’s pretty much anyone’s for the taking. The only problem is you’ll most likely run into Strawn in the state game.
