Job Responsibilities

Teaching: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Cal, and Math Models
Coaching: Assist in All Sports
Emphasis is on Teaching

Salary and Benefits

202 Days + $1500 local increment + coaching stipend +
$3000 housing stipend + up to $3500 math stipend +
very lucrative signing bonus paid over the next 2 or 3 years +
$225 per month towards insurance

Dog ... it's cause some of those high falootin' 5A crowded field guys think that the idea of setting foot in a classroom is ... well, beneath them.

Persons coaching at UIL schools must be school employee, and certified. Private and home school not so much.

learn how to coach?

A percentage of private school coaches have coached at UIL schools, how large? I really do not know. I guess the rest got OJT.
