What games decide playoff spots this week? In or Out, 1 or 2?
Strawn and Moran play for the district championship. I've not seen Moran but Strawn looked pretty good last Friday. Moran is 6-3. They were 45'd once by Bryson but were in the game the other 2 losses and took them the whole way. Both teams 45'd their common opponents. The Bulldogs might have the potential to make it a game.

It isn't exactly the battle of the century, but Blum and Avalon play for 1st and 2nd place in D1 division 13. The loser earns the distinction of being Coolidge's first victim in the playoffs, so it's pretty important to the players and fans involved if nobody else.

Along the same lines, WV vs. Veribest is for the District 8 championship. It's a five point spread but I think the Falcons win by considerably more than that. Loser gets the honor of being drubbed by District 7 champ (probably Buena Vista), winner gets smacked around by second place (probably Rankin). Still, it's a big game for Veribest as it could be their first ever district championship. The WV would love to avenge last year's first ever defeat at the hands of Veribest.

Cherokee vs Richland Springs for the San Saba County Championship, and for the District Championship. Both are undefeated in District play. As a pre-season article stated, the Cherokee Spreadback is one of the biggest, fastest, and one of the most accurate passers in the entire State! Kellen Everett of the Cherokee Indians will have his final chance to defeat the Coyotes, rumored to be his lifelong dream.
