I saw in the Glasscock County News that some students asked the school board to approve forming baseball and softball teams.

If the students want baseball and softball, I hope they let them. Maybe one of the close by towns will let them use their fields if garden city doesn't have one.

From the tone of the article, it looks like it may not happen though. The school board seemed skeptical.

I personally think they should add a turf football field to go along with that cow pasture football field they have. Ha Just funning cause they have one of the best facilities around.

Even back in the dark ages when I played, GC had the softest grass around, unlike the cement and grass burrs at Three Way....

When you mention Three Way, do not forget the fence. Somewhere else had a "rattlebug" one time, but location escapes me. Ha
