FYI - Lone Star Conference Festival

As I'm aware some coaches and other posters on this site went to some of these schools I thought this might be of interest.
The NCAA Division II Lonestar Conference is having a "Festival" of games this year on Friday September 14th and Saturday September 15th. All nine teams will participate along with Valdosta (GA) State and there is a TBD High School game at 8:00 Friday night the 14th. The event is to be held at Cowboy's Stadium in Arlington.
Friday 9/14, 12:00 - Incarnate Word vs Eastern New Mexico, 4:00 - East Texas State - sorry - A&M Commerce vs Midwestern State, 8:00 - HS game TBD.
Saturday 9/15, 12:00 - Valdosta (GA) vs Angelo State, 4:00 - Tarleton State vs Abilene Christian, 8:00 A&M Kingsville vs
West Texas A&M.
Ticket $ not yet announced but are supposed to be available in March ???

Incarnate Word and Abilene Christian may not be long for the Lone Star Conference.

Both have applied and been interviewed to move up to D-1 Southland Conference. From what I remember reading, the conference is thinking about taking at least one of them, maybe both.

Too bad for ACU. That lower D1 stuff is so diluted I'd rather see them compete in D2.
