I was informed this afternoon that FW THESA used an ineligible player this past weekend, so they are required to forfeit last week's 50-0 over Waco Parkview. A player had been ejected from a previous contest, but did not sit out this weekend.
This has happened around the state several times in a few classifications. I believe some require them to sit a half of the next game.
I will update the score soon but not the rankings. It will reflect the forfeit next week. Too many moving parts and I am sitting in the ATL airport and traveling several days this week.
To be honest, things like this are a mess. The rankings get completely out of whack. A team gets a 45 point win over a team that is 45 points better than them. It effects everyone down the line who has played them.
