Former 6-man player signs with Carolina Panthers

Dallas Lakehill alum Morgan Lineberry ('09) signed a free agent contract this afternoon with the Carolina Panthers. Morgan had a distinguished career as PK/P at Abilene Christian, and will now get his chance at the highest level. Congrats to Morgan, it's great to see someone from the 6-man community have an opportunity to represent us in the NFL!

Good to see another ACU Wildcat in the NFL too. Maybe Bryton Fernandez can someday follow. He was #17 at ACHS on the State Championship team 2 years ago. He's playing at ACU now (redshirted his freshman year, along with all the other freshmen). I'd love to see him excel.
