hedley isd is putting together an eight team "turkey day basketball tournament" slated for november 21-23, 2013. we are currently looking for sixman size schools to fill the slots. if you are interested, please post here, email me at [email protected], or call 806-856-5323. thanks.

o.k. here are the new details. The plan is right now to have this be a HS girls/JH girls tourny. We are going to try our best to accomodate those schools whose football teams are in the playoffs. That may mean last minute changes to the bracket...please bear with us. This is a great opportunity to get some early games in. There is no cost to play in this tourny. I would prefer sixman size schools at this time. we will use bigger school jv's, big 1A's, etc. only if necessary to fill the bracket. if you are interested, please contact me. thanks

ok. The final decision is this. Becuase of the time restraints that come with junior high games, I have decided to do our tournament as an 8 team "high school girls only" tournament. It will take place the weekend before the Thanksgiving holiday break. We will develop a schedule that will allow us to finish early on friday so that cheerleaders can make it to football games.
