I had thought that Brett was showing his true Packer loyalties by stringing out the Vikings and "retiring." But I was wrong. I still think the Packers should have made a deal with him last summer to play one more year, but who knows, this could have happened all again ... and hey, Aaron Rodgers had a pretty decent year.
But give the devil his due, the man is a competitor and it will be interesting to see how he does.
I still get laughs when I hear that he's the piece of the puzzle that will get the Vikings a Super Bowl ring. If I had a buck for everytime I heard that line for the last forty years, I'd be in line for those new higher taxes that President Obama promises to the rich folks.
