You're getting closer. But DC ranked #3 after beating Throck
I have never commented on the polls on here but this one has me scratching my head. As far as the TAPPS Div. 1 goes.
From Fajitas poll after week one DC was #3. After week two beating T-rock, still # 3.
After week one Rockwall #8. After week 2 #2
After Week one Abilene Christian #2. After week two ACHS #4
How does Rockwall move up from #8 to #2 and in front of Abilene Christian and Abilene Christian falls from #2 to #4 WHEN Abilene Christian defeted Rockwall in week two.
Things that make me go hmmmmm......

Part of issue is the way the individual delta to the powers is calculated, it gets better as time goes on, usually stabilizes around week 4.

what is looked at is the relationship between the spreads and the differences in the actual scores. the changes to power is related to how much the spread is beat or missed. If a team is 'picked' to lose by 45 but wins by 45 then the delta to consider for them is 90 points and they are going to go up a lot for that week. This while a team that is looking at a 6-10 point delta shows little or no movement. But each week the teams are moving towards where the power should be at. Of course this could all be avoided if teams had more accurate starting powers.

And this week there were what I considered to be a few more upsets than normal. next big impact is grades, hard to forecast which schools are going to be bit by the grades . . .
